This classic Sumatra Mandheling coffee is grown in the region around the high mountain basin of Lake Toba, in North Sumatra Province west central Sumatra, considered to be the best of the Sumatra coffees and by many the finest in the world. We “lightly” roast this coffee offering its smooth, bold, full bodied and strong earthy flavor. Probably the world’s most full-bodied with a flavor rich smooth and full.
It has heavy body, a hint of earthiness, very sweet to the palate and a buttery flavor and texture.
Roast: Light to medium which provides a full flavor and bittersweet finish. There are hints of chocolate and mild fruitiness.
