Here coffee grows in semi-forest plantations ranging in altitude from 4200 to 6800 feet. From the birthplace of coffee! Yirgacheffe is a wet processed, washed coffee, not wild in taste. It has excellent heavy acidity (but lighter than Kenyas) with good body. This coffee has that sought after berry overtone with a hint of floralness and wineyness in the finish. Great standalone coffee but is wonderful as a single origin espresso! Roast: Medium Roast that has excellent heavy acidity (but lighter than the Kenyans) with good body. Ours has that sought after berry overtone with hint of floralness and wineyness in the finish.
